Local Chapter Wins CEA Award.
The Charleston Chapter received a Chapter Excellence Award (CEA) for the 2007 to 2008 fiscal year. The Charleston AMA was awarded the Leadership and Membership Special Merit Awards by the national AMA.
AMA International Headquarters created the Chapter Excellence Awards (CEA) program to commend outstanding achievements in AMA chapter leadership and operations. To be considered for the Chapter Excellence Awards, the Charleston AMA had to demonstrate leadership ability, sound chapter management, management processes and chapter financial health. The Charleston Chapter competed against much larger cities like Atlanta, Boston, Washington DC and Houston.
